How does TSP's Supply Chain Program save my company money?
By managing the processes of planning, buying fasteners, inventory solutions and satisfying point-of-use demands, TSP can eliminate expenditures our customers have traditionally owned responsibility for.
If TSP performs the job functions currently done by my company's fastener buyer, won't that buyer be eliminated?
By taking over the buyer/planner responsibilities, TSP frees the customer's buyer to become a more valuable employee, able to pursue cost-savings on more expensive items and services, such as raw material, subcontract machining, heat treatment, and other "big-ticket" purchases.
If TSP becomes the buyer/planner for my company's fasteners, how can I still manage those products?
TSP's Supply Chain Program removes from the customer the responsibility of managing the product. Instead, the customer now manages the vendor. This allows for much more effective and efficient use of resources.
My company's product is highly engineered. How can I be assured that the correct fasteners are being furnished?
TSP has a highly trained workforce, with expertise in Engineered Fasteners. Our staff includes Engineers and Metallurgists, who work directly with our customers to assure that the products supplied are correct. We can offer assistance in fastener configurations, material selection and design options, enabling our customer to select the product with the best value for their application.
Does TSP do any manufacturing?
TSP has in-house capability to perform basic machine operations to meet immediate customer needs.
Is the TSP Laboratory available for contract testing?
The TSP Laboratory is available for contract testing on a limited basis.
