TSP was established in 1938, offering the first fastener counter sales
in the Houston area. Over the past six decades, TSP has moved away from counter sales and evolved into
one of the top single-source suppliers of engineered industrial fasteners in the country, and a leading
developer of fastener inventory management programs. In 1987, a change in ownership brought with it a
fresh outlook and in 1994 the company ventured into a new paradigm of distribution, focusing on advanced
technology and partnership with customers to improve fastener procurement methods.
TSP has been ISO 9002 certified since 1997 and currently conforms to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards.
Our quality control laboratory is A2LA accredited to ensure our customers are provided the highest
quality products. In addition, TSP personnel are knowledgeable in Industry Standards relating to
fasteners, including IFI, ANSI, ASTM, MIL, NAS and AMS. TSP's Quality Manager chairs the ASTM
Subsection covering High Temperature/High Pressure Bolting.
Supply Chain Management
TSP's Supply Chain Management program focuses on the development of innovative styles of fastener distribution.
Our goal is to minimize our customers' Total Procurement Cost related to manufacturing and inventory management.
As part of our Supply Chain Management program, we manage fastener inventories in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma,
California and Mexico. In addition, TSP supplies over 20,000 fastener part numbers across the USA, Canada, South
America, Scotland, Germany, Norway and Singapore.
Using a sophisticated tracking system in which each customer part is
tagged with an intelligent part number, TSP can easily aid customers in the identification and reduction of
duplicate part numbers. TSP also provides customers with material stocking services, inventory services, personnel
services and other programs to simplify our customers' inventory systems and reduce costs.
Products
TSP provides a wide range of products for the industrial fastener market such as engineered and commercial bolts, nuts,
screws, studs, washers, socket and anchor products, rivets, pins and thread protectors, as well as machined parts. TSP's
fasteners are produced from various materials and strengths including stainless steels, nickel alloys, pH grades, copper,
brass, bronze, aluminum, other ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and plastics.
